PLUS3FORCYBERSAFETY.org is a Nonprofit Charitable Corporation, 501c3, in Texas that exists to provide guidance and educational resources on how to overcome cyberbullying challenges in our communities for aspiring school personnel and those currently serving in the schools. Our strategic planning phase requires the collection of data from current school personnel on needs and desires for continuing education on cyberbullying prevention, identification, reporting, responding, and overcoming cyberbullying. We are seeking your participation and many of your site personnel to gain a wide lens perspective from many different types of schools within the private, parochial, and public sectors. Our electronic survey is shorter than most and would be appropriate for teachers, athletic coaches, counselors, and site administrators. It will also provide school personnel with opportunities for professional reflection on challenges that children and youth face through their use of social media today. 

As you know, our students today are navigating many hours online within a stressful environment of social media, and are possibly dealing with cyberbullying, or witnessing this among their peers. Often, parents and school personnel are unaware of the ways they can help prevent it and help children and youth overcome complex issues of cyberbullying. PLUS3FORCYBERSAFETY plans to provide video-conferencing for school personnel with a panel of 3 professionals from multiple disciplines and extensive backgrounds in serving schools and communities. In addition, the nonprofit organization is planning to reach out to aspiring school personnel in our state-wide colleges and universities as guest lecturers via video-conferencing as they are preparing to serve our communities.      

Feedback received from school personnel including athletic coaches, in this survey-questionnaire, will help the nonprofit PLUS3FORCYBERSAFETY and its board of directors with making decisions about the topics and essentials of continuing education services, future e-book/app, seminars, courses, and keeping the website full of engaging and helpful resources. Data will be compiled, analyzed, and assessed for general statistics and themes of general understandings. Names of participants will not be included in the data analyses and in the summary report of findings for the PLUS3FORCYBERSAFETY board of directors. The findings of surveys will not be published.            

With permission from any superiors, as may be required in your school setting, please consider completing electronic Informed Consent and the survey-questionnaire yourself. Then, email the link to your fellow site administrators, teachers, athletic coaches and counselors. Survey participation is completely voluntary.
